Hello sock knitters :-)

Intermediate to Advanced Knitting
Pattern # 3507 Gneiss Colourwork Scoks

These socks are a lot of fun. You can knit them in 2 colours or you can make the contrast colour different for each sock of a pair. Or reverse the colours used on each foot: the main colour on the left sock becomes the contrast colour on the right sock. There are endless possibilities for having some colour fun.

These socks require intermediate to advanced knitting skills. They are worked in the round on a set of double-pointed needles, beginning with K2 x P2 rib cuffs. The leg is worked using stranded colourwork and stripes. The colourwork is worked in a spiral, which means it is very easy to knit because you don’t need to think about where you are in the pattern. The slipped-stitch heel flap construction provides durability and a nice fit.

Finished Measurements
The socks come in 3 sizes: Small (Medium, Large) Finished leg length from ankle approx 19cm or 7½ins
Finished foot length approx 21 (23, 25) cm or 8¼ (9, 10) ins
These measurements may be adjusted but be aware that you may need more yarn if length is added to the leg or foot.
