2029 Colour Block Stripe Top (e-pattern)

This garment is constructed by knitting separate panels (front & back alike) which are then sewn together. The neckband and armbands are knitted in the round by picking up the front and back stitches.

MATERIALS
ALPACA YARNS Luxurious Fusion 50g
3 (3-4-4) hanks 1st Colour (C1-charcoal),
2 (2-3-3) hanks 2nd Colour (C2-natural).
Fingering / 4-ply: 40% Linen, 40% Silk, 10% Super Fine Baby Alpaca and 10% Super Fine Merino. Use only the yarn stated. Other yarns may give different results. Quantities are approximate as they can vary between knitters.

NEEDLES AND EXTRAS
1 pair 3.50mm knitting needles, 3.50mm circular needle (60 cm) or sizes required to give correct tension. 2 stitch holders. Wool needle.

TENSION
24 sts and 34 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 3.50mm Needles. To work a 13cm x 13cm tension square, use 3.50mm Needles, cast on 31 sts. Work 44 rows stocking st. Cast off loosely. If less sts to 10cm use smaller needles, if more sts to 10cm use larger needles.
