2664 Harvest Quilt (e-pattern)
Harvest Quilt Pattern designed by Samantha Green, Missy Mack
This striking looking quilt was designed by myself, whilst my husband was working long hours for the harvest time at the vineyard. The name seemed appropriate for a to celebrate his passion for his job, and my passion for my sewing. Harvest is a simple quilt, with straightforward piecing techniques, and is ideal for using charm packs or scraps from your stash. The pictured quilt was made using fabrics entirely from ranges by Bonnie and Camille for Moda fabrics, so it's also an ideal way to showcase a variety of prints. Create your own quilt in your choice of colours and fabrics, or follow the pictured pretty example.
The finished quilt is a generous throw, or Double size at 61" square, but can be easily adapted to a larger or smaller quilt, depending on your preference.
The quilt is made from 9 large blocks, finishing at 18" square each. The quilt can be made from charm packs (5" squares,) or yardage and scraps. Extra fabric is required for the background, binding and backing etc.
Fabric Requirements:
Sixteen 5” squares from assorted fabrics in 9 different colour ways (orange, green, navy, aqua, red, teal, lemon, pink and grey.) A total of 144 5” squares are needed.
