Skill level : Adventurous Beginner, you will need to know how to knit in the round.

The honeycomb structure that the stitch pattern of the Apidae socks mimics, a loving homage to the honey bee.

The honeycomb shape is one of the strongest geometric structures, but also one of the most resourceful and efficient, as it is the shape that will allow the bees to store the most amount of honey, using the least amount of wax. This ingenuity is just of the many reasons I love bees so much.
The slip stitch honeycomb pattern is easy to memorise, so you will have a pair of Apidae socks finished in no time.

The pattern is both written and charted.
