Bluegum Colourwork Beanie Project Kit

Please note that while the colours used in the original sample beanie are no longer available, we have selected a beautiful combination of charcoal, silver, and white to help you achieve a very similar look!
The stranded Bluegum colourwork pattern by Debra Kinsey Knits is worked over a 6-stitch, 14-round repeat. There are two colour options for knitting this beanie. In the three colour beanie, the stranded colourwork is on a background of 8-round stripes in two alternating colours. In the two colour beanie, the stranded colourwork is on a single colour background.
Finished Measurements:
Finished beanie circumference approx. 46 (48, 51, 53, 55) cm/18 (19, 20, 21, 21¾) ins depending on yarn used and tension achieved
Finished depth approx 21 (22, 22, 23, 23) cm/8¼ (8¾, 8¾, 9, 9) ins It is intended to be worn with approx 4-6cm/1½-2¼ins negative ease.

To complete your beanie, you'll also need the following accessories. We haven't included them in this kit, as you might already have your favourite set on hand!
- 3.25mm & 4.5mm needles, 40cm/16” circular needles & 4mm double point needles (or long circular needles if using the Magic Loop method) to complete the crown decreases (or size to achieve correct tension/gauge).
