This course is designed to introduce you to a range of basic cake decorating techniques which include:

  • Piping techniques
  • Creating effective decorations using silcone moulds, fondant cutters and moulding tools
  • How to mix gel food dyes and colourings

Skill level: Suitable for beginners

Course Length: 5.5 hrs (10am - 4pm - 1/2 lunch break)

  • Small non stick fondant rolling pin
  • Pack of 6 disposable piping bags
  • Piping nozzles
  • Silicone fondant moulds
  • Fondant plugger cutter
  • Fondant moulding tools

Participants will need to bring:

  • A plastic container to take home your decorations
  • Small rolling pin - must be weighted*
  • Tea sieve, fine holes for icing sugar*
  • Small sharp pointed knife
  • Apron and t-towel*

*Can be purchased on the day of the workshop.
