Introduction to Quilting (using Westalee Tools)
This workshop is for those crafters interested in learning all about patchwork design and quilting.
In one 3 hour lesson you will learn how to use the very clever Westalee Design adjustable rulers, about pressing seams and starching fabrics.
The very talented Jennifer Rooney will unravel the wonderful world of patchwork design as you build 3-4 different blocks from the Family Reunion Sampler Quilt. It is a great workshop for a beginner or if you need a refresher class in patchwork design.

Skill level: Beginner - some sewing knowledge is essential.

The course fee includes 3 fat quarters of your choice to be used in class to make the various sample blocks, plus a course folder that includes an index of block patterns, diagrams, tips and tricks and the history of the Family Reunion Sampler Quilt.
Students will need to purchase the following Westalee Design tools for this workshop:
- Machine Sewing Guide and Scant Quarter Gauge
- 18" adjustable straight ruler
- 2" to 6" half square triangle
- 2" to 6" quarter square triangle

Students are required to bring their own sewing supplies. Sewing machines are available or feel free to bring your own. This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants. Free all day parking at rear of Crumbz Craft. Coffee and tea provided.
