Yellow Quilting Pencil by Matildas Own is an oil free lead pencil. Marking your quilt or any sewing project with the traditional way of a lead pencil. There are times when the only way to mark a quilt is with the sharp point of a pencil. Excellent for marking intricate designs or a great marking method for hand quilting and machine quilting project designs.

It is always a good idea to do a test marking on a scrap piece of fabric you will be using. Test how it works on light and dark colours and check how easy it is to remove. You could even leave the markings for a couple of weeks to check if it removes easily or smudges.

This pencil comes blunt and needs to be sharpened before use.
